Today Grace channeled Gossip Girl's always stylish Blaire. Wearing a plaid pencil skirt, neck tie, and headband, she proved that you don't need to be a private school brat to pull off dressed up prep.

Mar here. Again. Where's Grace? So I found this bejeweled piece the other day, pinned it to a piece of black ribbon, and BAM! Something glitzy.

Tiny Tim Has An Early Christmas

Mar here. As an avid thrift store shopper I come across tons of amazing vintage shoes all the time. However, as a girl with large size 9ers, I`ve learned that finding shoes my size is quite the task and restrain from excitement in the shoe section. Today however, my friend Tamara aka Timmy and I went to the Sally Anne, and I had a reason to get excited. She has size 7 shoes! So what did I do, you ask. I lived through her and persuaded her in buying my favs. Yes! Love the brown booties.

A Day of Shopping

Mar here. Yesterday Grace and I went to Value Village, it was so much fun. I hadn't been in forever and ended up finding a few great pieces.

The first was these colourful violet shoes from the '80's. They were originally used in a wedding ceremony by a bridesmaid and were dyed their colour to match her dress. I love them, and the height is perfect for someone as clumsy as me.


After I found this great metallic gold top. I actually didn't realize it was a tunic until I tried it on, but that just makes it all the better. The sleeve length is perfect too. Yay!


I also bough a lovely black sweater with gold in it, but it needs a serious wash before I even think of putting it on again. On our way back from value village we noticed a salvation army and pulled over. So glad we did because this crazy geometic pattern sweater grabbed my eye (and my heart) almost instantly.


Lastly, I got this top a few weeks ago, but I had an urge to post it with this sweater. I think I have to stop buying sequins, because I'm starting to look like my grandma.

Bright Skirts

Although each day may be getting gloomier, it doesn't mean that you have to give up on colour. Today both Bo and Tamara were wearing, what looks like the same skirt, in green and mustard. Not sure if they are the same brand, but I know the mustard one is from AA. Nevertheless, they are super adorable, and have awesome pokets at the front. Need more skirts. Want more skirts.

A Rainbow of Legs

Mar here. As someone who hates their legs, I have grown to love tights and leggings. They are such an easy way to spunk up an outfit, not to mention they keep your legs warm in the winter. Here are a few of my tights that together create quite the rainbow.

House of Holland

Mar here. House of Holland tees are so much fun and I want one sooo bad. Not only do they have punchy rhymes about some of fashion's most famous characters, but they come in crazy colours and giant lettering. This one, which reads, "do me in the park marc," is my favorite. Sadly though, all the items are out of stock on the website. Maybe I should make one myself...

Mixed Message

Mar here. I love when people throw together two very different patterns, because you never know what's going to happen. Sometimes it's pure magic. This morning I witnessed two unlikely prints meet in one amazing outfit -a brown and black gingham coat with a black, gold, and red polka dot dress. I especially like the black leather obi underneath.

Mexican Chica

This bag was spotted from a far and it immediatley drew us in. With both its practicality and colourful mexican skull pattern, it has us head over heels in love. I hope Caitlin isn't too attached.

These boots are so crazy! Not only are they our favorite slouchy style, but they have a blue paint splattered design on them. Very cool.
